Hey there, I upgraded to a 4060 and am facing low FPS. My setup includes a Gigabyte A520M K V2 motherboard. In every benchmark it showed 250-300 FPS on high, but I’m only getting around 150 at max and it’s not stable even at low settings. I was expecting the PSU to be the issue, but I want to check other possibilities before buying a new one. Also, I just reinstalled Windows and wanted to rule out anything else besides the power supply.
We handle standard font sizes without issue, and you mentioned the outdated drivers. Your CPU is quite old—eight years past its prime—and it won’t match the performance of a newer processor.
It's still relevant, and you've noticed some past performance numbers. The person achieved around 200-300 FPS on high settings.
It seems the adjustment to 4060 automatically optimized performance, but it caused the CPU to work harder while handling textures.
