I selected the 5000 series mainly to avoid an additional 120€ for a mainboard upgrade. Otherwise, the options would have been 1700 b660 plus 13600kf. I intend to use XMP settings, and the VRMs should work fine... probably?

I have a fan at the top for exhaust. I could turn it upside down to gently push air downward toward the VRMs. While hot air naturally climbs, I’m unsure if working against that would help. Maybe placing an exhaust fan at the back or near the I/O panel would be better.
