Can you use an overcloaked Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU on a non-overclockable motherboard? It's possible to run it on one motherboard with overclocking while using USB-G on another.

The overclocking adjustments are reset every time the system starts. They are stored in the motherboard's BIOS. Changing the chip's speed on one board and moving it to another won't retain the settings. You'd need to adjust it again on the other board, which might lead to different outcomes.
