You’re ready to replace your motherboard. First, confirm compatibility between your new CPU, GPU, and RAM with the Gigabyte AB350-Gaming board. Then, power down your current setup and carefully remove the old components. Install the new CPU, ensure proper placement of the new GPU and RAM, and secure all connections. After installation, reinstall BIOS/UEFI settings and test everything before booting up again. If needed, follow the manufacturer’s guide for a smooth swap.

You might need to reinstall Windows, but you can also remove all your Gigabyte tools before starting. Since you have large amounts of data, backing it up isn't possible during the wipe process.

Also think about using an external HDD for backup. It's always good to have a reliable storage solution in case your main drive fails. You don't need to reinstall Windows, but doing so is strongly advised.

You can keep all your data on your drive and simply reinstall Windows, or you could format the drive if you prefer a clean start. Since it's been years since your last install, either option works depending on what you want.

If issues arise, reinstall it. Otherwise, keep it as is.
