I own a Ryzen 5 1600 in a B350M Bazooka and believe the CPU is limiting my RTX 2060. That’s why I’m checking which processor would be better for an upgrade.

It varies by budget. A Ryzen 5 3600 offers a cost-effective boost, while higher-end options like the Ryzen 7 3700X become viable based on your requirements.

If you overclocked the cpu and tuned your ram settings you shouldn't experience much of a bottleneck, I used to run an original 1600 with a 1070 ti and i had no issues. Honestly waiting for ryzen 4000 and grabbing a b550 board would be the better option imo.
