I will purchase a new laptop pre-installed with Windows 11, create a backup using Acronis True Image. Will activating Windows 11 continue if I switch to Linux, reinstall Windows 11, and then load the Acronis backup when needed for Windows 11 instead of Linux?
The laptop includes an OEM activation in Windows. I recommend activating the key first so the motherboard serial numbers can be linked to your account. The system will then identify the key during your backup process.
