Hello, I'm attempting to reduce the version of my HP BIOS but the recovery setup isn't working (pressing Windows key + B at startup). Could you assist me?

Hello @chris1892006, I've been attempting the same process for several days. It appears that when you try to downgrade, the BIOS update tool (which reads USB after pressing Windows key + B) looks for two signature files: .sig and .s12. For my laptop, I was only able to locate an older BIOS version that had either S12 or SIG signatures, but not both. I experimented with different combinations without success. Unfortunately, I'm at a loss, so it seems I might need to purchase a physical flasher tool and handle the update manually. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. Best regards
