Hello everyone, I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 1 15ADA7 with 256GB storage on Amazon. I learned it’s possible to expand the storage, so I installed a 1TB Crucial P3 2280 M.2 drive using an external adapter. I followed an online tutorial that suggested using the free Macrium Reflect version. After cloning everything, I replaced the M.2 slot and tried booting the laptop. The screen turned on but remained black—no BIOS access. Switching back to the original drive worked perfectly and allowed me to enter BIOS. This issue might be related to the Secure Boot setting in BIOS. Should I disable it before changing drives? Also, are there better methods for this upgrade? Thanks! Edit: Both drives are formatted as GPT.
