Hi everyone, I've been working with these hardware components for about ten years now and have been trying to breathe new life into them. Recently, I acquired a Gigabyte GA-G41MT-D3V and wanted to upgrade the RAM to the maximum capacity using two 4GB modules. However, the motherboard seems quite selective about which RAM sticks it accepts and rejects. I’m certain it doesn’t support the G. One suggestion: F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL. The QVL is outdated, so finding those sticks isn’t easy. Do you have any experience with this model? What RAM does it actually support? Thanks in advance! Other details: Intel Q9550, Nvidia GTX 1050, 460W PSU.

Instead of purchasing new RAM, I’d save the money and check if you can locate a used Ryzen 1600 (including motherboard and RAM) on eBay—they often offer quite reasonable prices at times. The Q9550 is just outdated and doesn’t justify investing in new RAM for it.
