Hey everyone!
I’m planning to upgrade my current setup, which I’ve been using for 1440p high settings gaming, because it’s no longer working with the latest games.
What I have so far and want to change:
CPU: intel i7-9700k 3.6ghz
GPU: GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390D (no need for WiFi, adapter is fine)
RAM: 2 x 8GB
What I have and am unsure about replacing:
PSU: Sharkoon SilenStorm Cool Zero 850W
Storage: 2 x SSD (256GB external, 1TB internal), 2 x HDDs (1TB each, external)
CPU cooler: Cryorig H7
Case: Sharkoon VS4-W (may be outdated or not suitable for airflow)
What I’m considering:
CPU: Intel or AMD, it doesn’t matter as long as it fits well. Suggested options are 13600k or 5800X3D
GPU: PowerColor RX 6800 XT 16GB
RAM: 2 x 16GB (brand not specified)
The aim is to run newer games at 1440p high settings. The budget is around €1000-1200. Please let me know if you can help!
