Prefer the 2x 16GB configuration. Reduces strain on the CPU's memory controller compared to using four sticks. Offers flexibility to exceed 32GB if needed. Warzone tends to have issues, but how do you optimize RAM usage? Are you also streaming? I'm playing at maximum settings in 1080p and currently hit around 14GB. Background apps include Discord, Chrome, multiple tabs, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, and Spotify.
I use about 15GB for everyday tasks. I really need at least 32GB of RAM. Seems like 16GB should cover most needs right now. Are there any background processes running? Probably not much. I’d suggest a 2x16GB setup instead of four sticks, since quad-channel isn’t common for mainstream CPUs and it would waste your slots. I think 16GB modules are dual-rank, so skipping the four-stick combo makes more sense. It might look less appealing, but it’s actually the better choice overall.
I don't know. Perhaps it's because I'm too lazy to close my Excel files or maybe I'm the best bug finder in Warzone (I promise I've tried every way to crash the game). Well, thanks everyone. I'll likely get that 16GBx2.
