Everyone will perform similarly in gaming. Choose the most affordable option and invest later in a new GPU.

The 7600X is the slowest model, and even with your 4060 it will remain the main limitation. Clearly, that makes it the worst in terms of bottlenecks. However, if you expect heavy CPU workloads—without sacrificing performance from a 7700X or 9600X—you’ll still get noticeable gains. (Note though, gaming is fine on a 7600X.)

It varies by the games you enjoy; generally, AM5 CPUs perform marginally better, but it depends on your budget and needs.

The 4060 isn't that weak, so it shouldn't become a problem. The 7600 can handle cards up to 7900xt and still perform well.

The combined load of 7600X plus 4060 puts a significant strain on the system, likely creating a major bottleneck.

They're all okay. The issues people think about with bottlenecks aren't as significant as they seem. Most of the time, what really matters is having a CPU strong enough to keep your GPU working smoothly, because CPU limits usually feel more noticeable to users than GPU limits. Every setup has its own bottleneck—sometimes it's the GPU in Doom Eternal, other times the CPU in Civ VI. You generally don't want to overinvest in the CPU unless you're sure you won't need more stress on it later. It's usually better to spend only what you need, since you can save money by choosing less powerful CPUs if you avoid games that push the CPU too hard. The main point here is that most discussions aren't very important if you're thinking about buying a system in late 2025 or early 2026; by then, enough changes will happen that specific parts won't be as crucial.

Sure, it sounds like you're comparing performance options. A 5800X might actually offer better efficiency than a 7600X by avoiding potential bottlenecks.

I feel like you dont understand what is being said Let me clear some things up for you There is no set amount of bottleneck and you cant quantify it If your cpu can fed your GPU well enough you are golden If you wanna go am5 you are fine, if you wanna stay on am4 for a few years more and go ryzen 5000 that is also fine. Get what you can afford between the 2 cause for am5 you need mobo, ram, cpu meanwhile for the 5800x you only need the cpu so choose what you wanna pay for Your GPU aka the 4060 will be the bottleneck, it isnt a hard GPU to feed and it isnt as powerful as you think

I don’t care about the cost, I just need strong performance in CPU-heavy games. I’m unsure if choosing the 5800X would create a greater bottleneck compared to the 7600X.

Stop overthinking the delays. It’s not as if your graphics card will explode if paired correctly. Any Ryzen AM5 or Intel 13th gen i5 or better should work. Your budget is likely the limiting factor. Opt for a more affordable option and you might upgrade the GPU later without major issues with these CPUs.
