Hello everyone! I'm planning to boost my workstation by adding 64 GB of RAM. I frequently tackle large 3D projects and require extra space. I currently have a first-gen Threadripped PC that I still use, but I want to upgrade it further. The motherboard is an Asus Zenith Extreme. My existing setup includes: G.Skill F4-3200C15Q-64GTZR, D4, 3200MHz, 64GB, C15 GSkill TriZ K4 R. However, I'm having trouble finding it in stock locally. Instead, I discovered the GSKill Trident Z Neo 64GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Quad Channel Kit (code F4-3200C16Q-64GTZN). It shares the same MHz but a different channel configuration. Would this work for an upgrade? I need it urgently and would appreciate confirmation right away. Please let me know if there are any issues. Thank you!

If they match the same specifications, any brand works well. If the specs vary, the system will use the least amount of RAM available.

The only variation I notice is the CL, mine shows 15 while the new kit displays 16. I’m curious if this might lead to any issues...

They won't be running at 16, will they?

All the RAM modules will begin operating at the increased CL (16), and this change shouldn’t cause significant problems. No additional complications are expected.

Thanks a lot for your assistance! I've placed the order with @Constantin and @Analog, and I'm hoping for a quick delivery.
