I recently purchased two 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 sticks at 3000mhz. They look quite alike and share the same timing specs. I also verified the details with Thaiphoon burner. I found out the RAM modules came from different manufacturers—Samsung and Micron. Does this variation influence overclocking performance?

This will certainly influence the maximum overclocking distance for the pair. Did you purchase two bundles of single sticks?

Purchased them individually at the same shop on the same day, yet they came from a retailer outlet. According to online sources, you can still attempt overclocking, though results may be limited due to varying timing specifications across manufacturers.
