I recently purchased the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT. It includes 8GB of RAM. There seems to be just one memory slot but two ports. I’m considering adding a single 16GB module to reach 24GB total. The laptop uses DDR4 PC4-19200 at 2400MHz, non-ECC SODIMM. Is there any issue with this plan? If the speed and type match, can a different size be used without problems? I’m planning to buy it.
