I have an MSI H610M board, and some folks suggest upgrading. I’m considering the B660 with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but I’m still looking for other options.

It seems you're expressing frustration about a previous purchase decision. Let me know how I can assist further!

The B660 boards aren't compatible with multiplier overclocking. You'll need a Z series chioset for that.

Evaluate whether the investment pays off based on expected benefits. Assess if a higher-performance CPU cooler might be required to unlock better performance gains. The problem isn't necessarily manual overclocking; budget constraints could limit the CPU's ability to reach its full potential due to power restrictions.

Unless you're targeting a very power-hungry CPU such as the 14900K, your setup should work just fine—it won't impact performance noticeably. You might consider investing in a better GPU or CPU, or adding more RAM based on your requirements. An older, budget motherboard (though I'm not certain your H610 is severely limited) would offer weaker power delivery, but upgrading to a 14900K isn't likely on the horizon.

I won’t miss the chance, so I’m putting aside money for a big thank you—thank you a lot!
