I've been attempting to revert from Windows 10 back to Windows 7 for more than a month now. The recovery option is no longer available. The issue arises when I insert my old Windows 7 installation DVD—it boots directly to the desktop without loading the installer, and pressing F2/Del triggers a boot prompt saying "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..." However, it still doesn't start properly. I've tried installing via setup.exe on the disc, but after initializing all updates, I encounter the error "Windows could not update the installation files. To install Windows, close Setup and restart the installation. Error code: 0x6".

Eventually you'll need to move to Windows 10, especially if you want to play games. Why stick with Windows 7?

others are reporting lower frame rates in certain games. I don’t experience that issue myself. That’s what I’ve heard.
