Sure, people tend to resist change unless it’s proven reliable. "A bit of personal control there?" "Tech-savvy folks understood the risks with a clean setup since they knew Microsoft was problematic" lmao, this guy xD no way a fresh install is better, honestly. You wouldn’t waste time moving 2TB of files or re-downloading 200 programs, especially with a job, a family, and a life to manage.

You can be a little young all day, but the truth is I’m already using Win10. I’ve completed two clean installations. I’m planning to get everything running smoothly over the weekend. I’m not someone who comes to forums just to ask for help and then get upset when we try to assist. So, once you’re done with the frustration, would you like some help? Have you checked the steps on the linked page to resolve the Windows update issue? If not, I don’t see much value in this discussion.

who is showing emotion? I believe most people would react strongly if someone suggested a clean install. Why bother writing here when a fresh start would be better? That’s why the term upgrade is used. If I had followed the steps, it wouldn’t have been labeled an upgrade. I tried everything and still didn’t succeed...

What signals the shutdown of MS services is typical given that key usage was restricted long before Win7 support ceased.
