I've shared this before, but after careful inspection of the CPU, I found a few bent pins and thought adjusting them might fix everything. That turned out to be a mistake. Now the system boots up but doesn't show anything on the screen with either CPU. My previous build functioned perfectly until I added the new CPU. It could be that something was damaged or disconnected, but I'm not certain. Here are some photos:
When fitting the new CPU, bending pins might harm the socket or cause misalignment, leading to weak connections. To fix this, you should either straighten the pins yourself or bring it back for a replacement.
I realize I might have misremembered that part... yes, I did adjust them, and instead of staying off, the machine powers up completely with all lights active, but nothing appears on the screen.
It's worth mentioning that my RGB keyboard doesn't illuminate even when connected.
Did you refresh the BIOS on your motherboard prior to exchanging the CPUs? It might not be compatible with the third-gen Ryzen processors.
