Hello, with the current budget I have only 500€, I’m considering swapping my 2600X for a 3900X because it would help with CPU-heavy games like Battlefield and also address potential bottlenecks in video editing and rendering. My main concern is whether to stick with my B450 Tomahawk or upgrade to a X570 board. The Tomahawk is highly regarded for its VRMs, which are great for overclocking, but I’m not too keen on PCie 4.0 since I only have an M.2 SATA SSD. Replacing the motherboard is definitely more complex than just swapping the CPU. What do you think? Will the performance match that of an X570, and can I still overclock?

It should function properly, but I recommend avoiding attempts to overclock it or turning on PBO.
