I completed the upgrade from a 4770k to a Ryzen 7500f with DDR5 6000mhz cl30. Kept the RX 6800. Ran a quick test in Dead Island 2, before reaching 86fps and now achieving 140fps – great. In the menu, shader compilation was the issue; previously the shader countdown ran smoothly and quickly, now it stutters and freezes briefly with high GPU usage. In games, although FPS jumped significantly, there’s still noticeable stuttering, similar to what I experienced with the 4770k, which was considered acceptable at that time. In Borderlands 3, performance is even worse, with frequent stutters and frame drops. The GPU is at 99% and CPU usage between 20-30%. What does this mean? I’m playing at 1080p.

Additionally, I performed a fresh installation of the GPU drivers to ensure everything runs smoothly, and I also refreshed the chipset drivers.

I don't have specific details about your PSU and CPU cooler models. Could you provide more information or clarify your question?

How many years have you had your PSU?
Are there any adjustments you're making to the CPU, GPU, or memory?
What are the current CPU and GPU temperatures when not running and when under stress?
