I know that there is a way to upgrade a motherboard, procceser, and ram without a complete wipe of the system, and I have been finding conflicting answers online, and I will be upgrading my pc soon, and really don't want to have to wipe it. So, what is the most efficient method to upgrade my cpu, motherboard, and ram without a reinstall of windows? Thank you!

Remove the previous components. Install the updated parts. Ensure everything works smoothly by checking for any problems.

It worked both ways during the same Windows 10 setup; X370 came first, then Z87, and finally returned to X370.

Windows 10 should start properly because it supports most drivers. If you don’t see a blue screen during boot, everything looks good. Recently switching my motherboard didn’t change the chipset, so updating drivers for the new part would help. You can get the right drivers via Windows updates, the included CDs, or download them from the manufacturer’s site. The key driver to focus on is ETHERNET/WIFI—just make sure you have internet access.
