Someone has updated the BIOS of their AsRock X570 Gaming 4 to the latest release. Has anyone experienced this before or with similar boards? The manufacturer advises using a different update process with two of their versions. The screenshot indicates you want to skip both and directly upgrade to version 3.60, rather than 3.00 or 3.20. They don’t mention this in the newer releases. It seems unclear, and changing between versions would be time-consuming. Their alternative method appears frustrating.

You might also consider updating your bios online. It looks like you can view all first bios at once.

The board lacks that capability. I plan to proceed with the 3.2 update and see if it functions with my 5800x. After confirming it works, I'll upgrade to the latest BIOS. For others facing similar challenges: Apply AsRock's dedicated method to reach BIOS version 3.20. This has proven effective for me, allowing smooth Windows booting and BIOS access. Tomorrow I'll test whether the new Ryzen 5800X performs adequately.
