You can obtain the ISO files directly from Microsoft. They also offer licensing options instead of just selling keys. That simplifies the process a lot.

Haha fair enough, I think it gets more aggressive about activation (updates turn off, warning popups, etc.) after a 30 day grace period though

It seems strange since it should disable updates, alert about hourly activation, and reset the background to black each hour. However, some users notice the watermark disappears in a distinct process. Lol
