I’m sure since you’re getting a fresh build, you should skip the hassle and purchase a Windows copy instead. It’ll probably be harder than Microsoft makes it seem when updating on newer systems.

I purchased the Winddows 8.1 disc in the fourth quarter of 2014; it wouldn't be worth it again.
