Checking BIOS updates could improve your experience, especially with a resizable bar. Your current BIOS is F9, but F10i supports it. Since you have a Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X motherboard and a 6600xt GPU, upgrading might be beneficial.

It varies by the games you enjoy, but many perform well on AMD GPUs.

Updating your bios carries a risk of temporarily disrupting your setup because of power issues or corruption. You might lose stability if you previously had consistent operation, or you'll need to restore it later. It's worth it if you believe REBAR adds value. Personally, I tried it and didn’t notice a big difference, though some performance in synthetic settings dropped slightly due to security measures. I didn’t have to redo the original configuration, so changes were applied without issues. Your profiles usually get overwritten, which is why they can be reset.

For AMD graphics cards, the answer is likely yes. For Nvidia, it's no.

On AMD boards, you can notice around a 25% boost in frame rates in certain titles like CS:GO when you adjust settings. With Nvidia cards, the gains are usually just a few points at most. I think it’s worth trying since your system has dual BIOS versions and the chances of issues are low. Just avoid doing this during bad weather for peace of mind.
