Hello, a family member of yours wants to assemble a PC for light gaming and work tasks. They have my motherboard and RAM ready, and they plan to upgrade their own system. I’m curious about the typical steps in replacing the motherboard. Right now, they’re using a Ryzen 7 3700X and 1080Ti into an MSI X470 Gaming Plus slot with a BIOS flash. They aim to switch to the X570 platform using the MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi for better RAM speeds and wireless connectivity. it might function properly. when i set up this computer, i also used an older version of windows. but after a few weeks it began to crash unexpectedly and display various error messages. after reinstalling the operating system, most issues disappeared.
I plan to test it and if it functions, I'll perform a clean Windows installation for a new setup. Thanks and cheers!
