Last week I chose to reinstall Windows 10, but soon faced issues with the CPU. Initially, the voltage spiked, which was fixed by updating the BIOS. Then the overheating concern emerged. During a high-load stress test, sensors recorded 80°C and the temperature rose quickly. Even when touching the radiator, it felt almost normal. I had planned several fixes—switched OS versions, used a live CD, tested with various programs, updated drivers, consulted friends, and tried to resolve it together. I’ve attached the stress test results before and after the update. In the photo showing the thermal paste, it looked dried up and ineffective. Now, with fresh tests, the paste is new and passed quality checks based on board temperature. The processor specs (R7 3700X, Gigabyte 2070s, 8GB, Asus B5550 M, 700W PSU) indicate it should not be overheating under normal conditions.
