I have a ASRock 320m-hdv motherboard. I bought a ryzen 7 5700x to put in it. It won't post with the new CPU so I put the old CPU back in it (ryzen 5 1600) and it works just fine. The BIOS version it currently has is 3.30. I downloaded the next BIOS (3.4) and extracted it to a flash drive that's been formated to FAT32. When I go into the BIOS it says "no image file detected" am I doing something wrong? Also the "easy driver installer" fails to connect to the Internet no matter how long I wait or try it says "network connection failed, please check network configuration" and gives a error code 18

Consider using a different flash drive, as some boards have specific requirements. Also, switch the USB port it connects to, since certain boards only perform BIOS updates when plugged into particular ports. EDIT: @191x7 is correct; didn't observe a difference in the board type. Use the updated BIOS.

Checking the incorrect board information... You're using an A320M-HDV 4.0 board.

Sure, I'll wait about two hours. I got occupied with another task. Thanks! I'll update you soon.

Hey team. It functioned correctly. I ended up on the incorrect bios downloads page. Perhaps they should assign unique names to their motherboards, haha.
