Check your system and follow the recommended updates for Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina. If you upgrade from a lower version like 10.14 to 10.15 or 10.15 to 10.7, ensure you apply the latest available updates for stability and security.

Regular updates are usually easy, but always check your bootloader and kexts before moving to a major release. If you’re still using Clover, consider switching to OpenCore.

It seems to be a recommendation rather than a direct demand. You're being encouraged to move to OpenCore if you're still using Clover.

It's a solid idea to explore OpenCore. It might not be mandatory, but it performs exceptionally well. It's essentially a strong recommendation.
