The original model came with an i7-9700K processor, which uses the LGA 1151 chipset. Since she’s getting a prebuilt unit, it usually has very specific, proprietary parts, so I’m wondering if installing an i3-9100F CPU would fit properly—would it work with the PSU and socket, or would there be compatibility issues?
