I changed the BIOS from F40 to F65. While checking the support section, I noticed the update notes refer to F41 and F50 instructions. The guidelines state that if your BIOS is at F40 or higher, you don’t need to install the EC FW Update Tool before proceeding. However, if you were on a lower version, you must follow step 2. Since you’re currently at F40 or above, you should be fine without it. But keep in mind the original warning still applies for versions below F40. Everything seems to work now, and Windows is running smoothly.
