I'm looking to give it a bit more flair (I've been working on this over the past year). This is the sole PC I own with a PCI slot for a Maudio soundcard that I use occasionally. Here are the details: Mobo: Biostar TP43D2-A7 CPU: Core2Quad q8200 RAM: 8GB DDR2 at 800MHz GPU: RX 570 Storage: 500GB SSD, plus 5 HDDs in different sizes. W10 Two questions: Is anyone familiar with whether this Biostar motherboard supports the Q9650? The manufacturer's compatibility chart hasn't been updated. I understand the Q9650 can run on DDR2, but I'm not sure about this board's suitability. Would upgrading RAM from 800MHz to 1066MHz really make a noticeable difference? It seems like a versatile platform for running Native Instruments software.
