Hi, I’m trying to locate the latest Ryzen update info but haven’t found it clearly. After checking, Adrenalin 24.1.1 on the AMD website seems relevant. Your system (A10-7850K with Radeon R7 Series and Ryzen Software) appears compatible. This version should work well unless you need newer features. Let me know if you’d like more details. Thanks! TolAnd.

It's a CPU from ten years ago, and it seems like no new updates have been released for it lately.

Perhaps not the ideal spot, but I can propose an alternative. You mentioned having several storage options—4 internal SATA drives (one 500 GB, three 2 TB), two external USB 3.0 drives, and two DVD-RW discs. Since you use a lot of music and files at once, you’ll need a solution that supports Windows 11, while still working smoothly on Windows 10. Let me know if you’d like some recommendations!

For a good music production rig on a tight budget, I'd consider a 12600K or 5700X (both under $200), a $150 board with 32GB RAM ($100), and the 5700X would likely need a GPU. If you don’t have one, an Intel model might be better; otherwise, you could opt for a 7700 on AMD, though it’s near $300.

The idea of swapping a CPU within the same setup doesn’t offer any practical value since compatible options are limited. For constructing a fresh system, costs vary based on your budget.
