Updates may cause Linux to become corrupted.
I started my PC with Linux on Zorion OS, a version based on Ubuntu. I searched for many updated programs but faced issues after downloading and installing. After several reboot attempts to access the GRUB menu, I encountered a "no boot device" error after five tries. It’s unclear what caused this, but I’m hoping someone can help prevent it from happening again.
Check if you're starting in GRUB. If possible, review the guide here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair
Verify all BIOS configuration options. The issue appears consistent across attempts to boot from an unreadable USB drive.
I managed to get involved once, changed the bootloader and another setting, but I can't recall it.
