Minecraft now has an RTX beta release, making shader effects even more impressive. The humor around Minecraft shaders has taken on a whole new level of fun. Even strong computers struggle to run the game well these days.

Rtx 2080 Super paired with an X27P 4K monitor delivers around 19 fps. Input lag feels like it comes from Doom, and you can’t seem to fix the resolution drop—only works smoothly at 1440p. If you want a playable experience, using the full monitor at 1440p seems necessary.

I read that gtx 1060 won't work, but I tried anyway. I won't let me turn on RTX or download RTX maps, I expected that. But there is a huge input lag in RTX beta even with RTX off. Well it's still beta so I'm not complaining, just saying ... Edit: it was caused by vsync was turned on after driver update... (i3-8100, Dell GTX 1060, DDR412GB 2400mhz, 60fps capped)
