The updated Bioshock 2 PC version received widespread praise for its fixes, especially the save functionality which now works properly. However, performance issues remain—CPU usage spikes unnecessarily without clear reason. Compared to the newer titles, it feels dated but still offers a solid experience for fans of the series. Whether it’s worth purchasing depends on your preferences and what you value in a remastered experience.

I had the older versions, so I downloaded the new ones for free—no loss of data. I’ll just keep an eye on whether they release more updates.

The main issue I face is the absence of graphics options.

In reality, the older versions on PC remain fully functional and workable (the field of view is just a matter of opinion), but still...

They mentioned they are releasing updates to resolve issues in Bioshock 1 and 2. Our goals include: enhancing Mouse Smoothing, adjusting Sensitivity and Acceleration settings in BioShock; adding more Speaker Mode choices in Audio Settings for BioShock; refining the FOV Slider options across Bioshock, BioShock 2, and Minerva’s Den; supporting 21:9 display ratios in those titles; and improving overall stability to minimize crashes.
