Updated to beta versions is fine. Let me know if you need anything else!
Hi there, I have a few quick questions. I’m using an MSI B350M Bazooka motherboard with BIOS from 2017. I was wondering if updating the BIOS would be necessary, especially since I plan to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1400 later. I read that a BIOS update might be required for the CPU, so I went ahead and installed the latest beta version. It seems to be working fine, but I’m not sure if it’s best to choose the latest stable release instead of the beta. Could you suggest how to download the newest stable BIOS onto a flash drive and apply it via MFLASH? Also, are there any problems when reverting back to an older version? I just want some advice since this is outside my usual experience. Thanks!
It's a huge error that will follow you for the rest of your life, affecting not just you but your children too. They'll always be ostracized and labeled as "the kids whose dad did terrible things to a motherboard." Of course it's a joke—no real harm done—and as you've noticed, upgrading to a better CPU usually requires that very same step.
