Updated the old SSD to a new one, but still experience frame drops and stuttering while playing games.
As mentioned in the title, I recently swapped out my previous SSD (Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB) for a new one (Western Digital Blue SN5000 4TB). Since I couldn't transfer my files, I began from zero and re-downloaded everything onto my fresh SSD. Before setting up the new drive, I saved the Windows installation media to a USB so I could install it on the new SSD. I’ve tried almost every solution—cleaning the PC, adjusting graphics settings in games, updating drivers—but I still can’t identify the problem because I didn’t encounter any game issues until after installing the new SSD.

What BIOS version are you using on your motherboard?
I chose to begin from the ground up.
Did you install the OS in offline mode (without the website) to later add all necessary drivers with the newest versions via an elevated command, such as right-clicking in Starter > Run as Administrator?

What is the age of your PSU?
Regarding the SN5000 drive, can you test it and observe its temperature? Does this relate to any performance issues?
Would you like to attach an NVMe heatsink to the NVMe SSD if you haven't done so yet? Also, are you currently running something?
Thank you for the friendly greeting! The BIOS version I’m using is E7A40AMS.BE2. I installed the operating system in offline mode. The power supply seems to be around three years old, having turned 4 in March. I switched back to my 1tb SSD last night, but my PC would shut down whenever I tried to log in. I haven’t checked this this morning yet.
My fans appeared to be functioning properly and the CPU felt slightly warm during operation before it stopped working.
I haven’t but I’ll remember this. Currently, I’m using Windows 10.
Other things to try redownload the windows media but there will be a option choose option not for this pc this will make it a completely fresh copy.
Just because of the density of 4tb which is most likely stacked I would Def get the nvme.

Be quiet mc1 ( not pro version as that tends to conflict with some hardware.)
