Updated the motherboard recently but the computer still can't start.
Hello, I just upgraded my motherboard from a Core i7 6700K to a Core i5 8600K and swapped my 980TI to a 1080. When trying to boot, it blocks me and says "repairing drive," then shows a Windows blue screen error. I’m really confused about what to do next... any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Additionally, sometimes after finishing, I encounter a black screen with a shifting pixel mouse.

What OS is installed? If it's Windows 7, boot from a bootable Paragon Adaptive Restore 2010 and adjust the operating system settings to match the previous configuration (legacy or UEFI).
Upgrading major components means you can't simply use your previous SSD to keep running the old operating system.
Are you sure? That’s impressive! After all these changes and tests, it’s clear what I can grasp now. It wouldn’t be possible without trying—it’s just repeating what you find online.
