I recently purchased an ASU RT-AX89X and am very pleased with it, except for the inability to reach monoprice.com. I understand it's the router, as my work PC connects via VPN without issues. The problem isn't my PC; other devices also can't access it. Instead, I receive a 502 Bad Gateway error. I'm not familiar enough with networking to figure out the solution, and searches suggest others with similar setups also face difficulties. My setup includes an apartment with networked devices, and I must use a personal router for access. Previously, I owned a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, but I don't recall accessing monoprice.com from it. A traceroute to the new router shows no response. Help is needed here—anyone in the tech tips community?

Clear your DNS cache. Launch the command prompt and input: ipconfig /flushdns. You might also switch to another DNS server. Search engines suggest using 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4, Cloudflare options 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1.

I've only heard of Monoprice so far. There might be others, but I can't verify them outside my usual website access. Flushing didn't work; I checked the DNS servers and they're already using 8.8.8.8.

You're not from the United States, and I've faced the same issue. However, it worked once I used a VPN.

Currently sitting in the rocky mountains. Laughs. Just updated—my router is being blocked, and it seems the firewall is handling it. Even if I disable the firewall, I’ll contact my ISP for help. Sent an email to ASUS already, but haven’t heard back yet.

I haven't reached out to my ISP yet. However, I was having trouble accessing a form for my eye insurance. It kept showing firewall errors and connection resets. After trying to adjust the DNS settings, I managed to view the form again, but still couldn't access monoprice.com. Probably best to contact the ISP since the internet isn’t working properly.

You might also attempt to send a ping to monoprice.com from the command prompt.
