Updated RAM speed settings and activated game boost on the MSI motherboard.
Hi,
I noticed you're using a B350m Mortar motherboard and have tried enabling Game Boost along with adjusting the RAM frequency in the overclock menu. After saving the BIOS, your PC stopped working and now only shows a black screen. I'm wondering if resetting the BIOS, using the CMOS battery, or setting it with a jumper could help. Please let me know how I can assist you further. Thanks!
Have the same board, also have problem with rams atm
First don't panic. Everything is fine. Mobo has a 5 time reboot option. If it can't boot, it resets the cmos and turns to stock settings if it didn't work this way (at first had the similar problem) pull the bios battery out and reset it.
Also on the oc menu there is an option (as I said) to reset cmos after failed oc attempt. You can set a number there to designate after how many tries it should reset cmos. Can't remember exactly what the name is but it was in the oc menu under the memory try it! Option.
