Hi everyone, I’ve saved enough to purchase a new motherboard and CPU. I’m unsure whether 1080p or 1440p will work best. I have a GTX 2060 with 6GB RAM and am considering either a Ryzen 5 3600 or an i5 9400F. Both options should deliver around 60 FPS at 1440p, but I’d like to stick with 1080p if possible. 60fps runs smoothly at 1440p on either processor. I’d choose an AMD setup. The priority is a monitor with a high refresh rate rather than just 1440p. My current specs already deliver over 100 fps.
