The BIOS file seems odd, didn't you notice? The flash guidelines at ASROC are important—most of these files actually end with .rom, though formats can differ. Make sure to follow those instructions carefully.

That's what I expected, yet it was the file I got from https://pg.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570 PG Velocita/index.asp#BIOS. I picked the 5.60 release and selected the worldwide download option.

It seems the memory might not be properly aligned. The YouTube specialists suggest using a stronger force than what you're applying. Consider using two of your old sticks: slots A2 and B2, counting from the CPU side.

Are you trying to refresh the system information? The issue arose when using an old stick in A2, triggering code F2 which indicated a bios problem. This aligns with my expectation that the bios flashback would restore the previous working bios without needing a USB drive. It’s worth noting I’m confident in handling computers since I work in IT, but this situation is puzzling.

Additionally, Google confirms that BIOS flashback functions properly when the CPU is already installed.

I inserted two of the old sticks into A2 and B2, then ran the bios flashback again. It flashed three to four times before settling into a solid red color. Right now it remains in that red state.

Isn't it common to think that clicking a link in an email triggers a request for assistance?

Also, I use MSI software and for my setup BIOS flashback files need to be named msi.rom. Make sure you're familiar with that.

Follow the instant flash steps for ASROCK and compare with the BIOS flashback instructions. If unsure, choose one you’re familiar with. You’ve already tested both now.
