Hello. I understand you're facing an issue with Outlook 2021 not functioning properly after upgrading from Outlook 2007. The search feature isn't working and no results are displayed. You've already taken several steps—rebuilding the index, editing the registry, searching for updates, and checking online resources—but nothing has resolved the problem. Could you share more details about the exact error messages or any specific steps that didn’t work? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Check your email settings: Outlook 2021 (2016) uses IMAP, POP3 or Microsoft Exchange depending on your configuration.

Can you even access those PSTs? Every time a client brings up PST, it reminds me we’re back in the corruption era, especially as these files grow bigger.

Thanks for the help! I figured it out. It was a bit tricky, but after a few attempts, it finally worked. Just rebuilt the index a few times before it functioned properly. Lol!
