Updated CPU Release 2
Updated CPU Release 2
Hello Everyone, After my previous update I successfully bought the appropriate motherboard for my new Intel i5 9600K, choosing a ROG B390-H Strix Gaming. My CPU runs at a standard speed of 3.7Ghz, but when I power on the system even with light tasks like Chrome and iCue it appears to run at around 4.4Ghz on average. (Please check the photos below) I understand K processors can be overclocked, but I haven’t done that and am concerned about potential damage. After installing an SSD and setting up NZXT CAM for temperature monitoring, I’m seeking advice—does this behavior indicate a problem or is it typical for this chipset? If so, what steps should I take to resolve it? Best regards, Millsy
It increases its performance to this level without any stress because it needs to maintain reliability, not just for convenience.
