Update the registration of the programmed device.
Hello! I recently purchased a new laptop. When I attempted to install a program (its name is in Greek, so I’m not sure anyone will understand) it requested my serial number. The issue is that this program starts automatically on my old PC, and I don’t recall my serial code... It seems to be linked to the registry. Can anyone assist me in registering the program on my new computer? Which files need to be moved to complete the registration? Thanks in advance!
If the verification works well, the data will be secured and linked to the device where the program runs. This is why serial keys can’t simply be copied between computers—they’re usually saved in the Windows registry but more often connected to the executable file itself. There’s no single location for all registrations in Windows. You should check if the key exists within the program, such as by opening the top bar and selecting Help or About. If it’s missing, reach out to the vendor for help.
