Back in the past, when you used to play a CD and then took it out, File Explorer would go to another folder by default. In 2024, when you close it after removing a CD while browsing, you need to adjust that behavior. Any other option besides closing would work fine. By the way, keep in mind how helpful Google used to be... you can't just search your way out of a paper bag anymore...

I've lost track of how Windows used to function. Since Google didn't assist, trying to ask ChatGPT might not yield results. Who knows what you'll discover?
