Only address issues with your BIOS if you truly have problems. It won’t boost performance and may introduce minor or irrelevant functions. It could potentially cause additional complications.
If you don't have any issues or don't want to aim for better overclocks, don't do it. BIOS updates will fix bugs, improve compatibility and stability. But there's always slight risk that inexperienced updater (person) messes up something and you end up with dead mobo.
