I mainly rely on the widgets for weather updates and alerts directly on my desktop. It’s understandable if you prefer not to have them there. Click right-click on the taskbar, go to Taskbar Settings, then switch off Widgets at the top under Taskbar Items. You can also adjust Taskbar Behaviours for a cleaner look. For extra help, check out https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 and enable the recommended option to reduce clutter automatically. If needed, you can disable other elements manually, though it might affect some features.
